Churches and temples

This formerly was a Jesiit school and this nunnery dates back to eighteenth century. The next is the Saint Rocco's Chapel. This is also a very important monument of the Alicante city. This monument is for the co-patron saint. This is also a well preserved chapel that was built during the sixteenth century. But then this was renovated in the 19th century. What captivates a lot of tourist to this chapel is the beautiful Gypsy Christ figure. Another important monument in the city is the Santa Cruz. This was a chapel that was built on the ruins of a tower called as Ampolla and this was built during the 18th centur.
